OverviewCommunications Coordinator required for a new, permanent role in the North East. Office based a couple of days per week at most, the role is hybrid but requires travel throughout the North East and Yorkshire too.

The RoleWorking within a fantastic comms team, you will contribute to the delivery and execution of internal and external communications for all divisions within this a group. You will work within the Communications Team to coordinate and create engaging content for social media platforms, press, publications, an internal communications platform, and the website. Duties will be as follows:

Write accurate and engaging content for press releases, social media, internal communications messaging and website. Liaise with necessary stakeholders, both internal and external, to seek approvals;Coordinate, film and edit videos for use on social media, website and for internal purposes;Liaise with colleagues across the divisions to source content for social media and PR planning;Coordinate the Group’s social media activity alongside the Communications Team;Maintain the Group’s Internal Communications Platform by managing content uploads via WordPress and writing informative news updates for staff;Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to arrange photography and media bookings across construction sites and for PR opportunities. Manage the upload of all media onto company library;Visit construction sites across North East and Yorkshire to coordinate media activities and obtain content for social media and PR planning;Provide administrative support for all communications activity;Undertake website updates, including the upload of new content.

The role is full-time with a salary of £25,000 plus a car or car allowance and fuel card.

The PersonApplications are welcome from creative people with plenty of experience of social media and PR content creation, including strong writing skills, videography skills, including organising, filming and editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable software and a working knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn. Attention to detail is essential for this role as are strong communication skills and the ability to work within deadlines.

Additionally, candidates must be able to drive and be willing to travel across the North East and Yorkshire.

Remuneration£25,000 per annum
