Our client, a highly reputable North East law firm, are looking to recruit a NQ Family Solicitor to join their team in Durham. The role would suit a NQ Family Solicitor, who has completed a seat in family law throughout their training contracts. Candidates who haven't completed a seat in family law but have previous family law paralegal experience (upwards of 1 year) are still encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside a friendly and supportive team on a caseload of both public and private family law matters
  • Caseload to include divorce and separation, finances, cohabitation disputes, pre and post nuptial agreements and children law
  • Working with local clients, and providing an expert level of client care and advice throughout the life of the file
  • Attending to clients in person
  • Supporting senior Solicitors on more complex family law matters
  • Attending court

Requirements:

  • NQ Family Solicitor who has completed a seat in family law, or has prior family law paralegal experience before completing training contract
  • The ability to deal with vulnerable customers, and provide an expert level of client care
  • Local to Durham
