We are currently looking for a Production Manager to work with a PLC listed UK market-leading manufacturer at their Thornely site, near Durham.
Within the position, you be responsible for a team of Production Workers for the manufacturing site, whilst establishing robust systems, working towards world-class manufacturing and operational excellence.

Desired Skills and Experience of Production Manager:
- Demonstrable managerial experience within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable organizational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures, HSE - Health and Safety, Continuous Improvement, Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing - 5s, etc.
- Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team
- Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.
