Quantity Surveyor
Salary: 拢45,000-拢55,000
Location: Durham
Reporting to: Commercial Manager/Operations Manager

THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Durham. In this role, you will oversee projects of various sizes, ensuring the preparation and maintenance of accurate budgets. You will build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are completed within the projected budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
路Implement the company's commercial strategy effectively.
路Oversee projects of diverse sizes and scopes.
路Prepare precise budgets at tender award and update them monthly using Elite.
路Procure works to meet or exceed programme and tender budgets.
路Draft and manage sub-contract documents.
路Handle accounts for clients and subcontractors.
路Conduct weekly program, progress, and cost reviews and analyses.
路Manage change control processes.
路Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
路Monitor and report financials, coordinating closely with the project team.
路Develop and agree on project forecasts with operational teams.
路Conduct detailed commercial analyses of various outputs.
路Provide commercial support for tenders.
路Submit monthly payment applications.
路Adhere to approved work procedures.

Requirements-
路Experience in Civil Engineering Projects Proven track record of working on civil engineering projects, ideally infrastructure, roads, and utilities.
路Experience in Contract Management Specifically C-MAR and National Highways contracts.
路Knowledge of Construction Contracts Strong understanding of various construction contracts such as NEC, JCT, and FIDIC.
路Cost Management Expertise Skilled in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects.
