Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, submit, and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for M&E projects.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations for projects.
  • Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure financial control.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contract terms and resolve any financial or contractual issues.
  • Provide regular reports on project financial status and forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK driving license.
