What will my role look like?
As the Compliance Manager, you will lead our compliance team in implementing and maintaining robust health and safety, food safety, and compliance strategies. Your role will involve overseeing regulatory adherence, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence throughout the organization.
- Define and track KPIs and objectives for the compliance team in alignment with company goals
- Provide specialized support to all departments, ensuring comprehensive compliance across the organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to cultivate a safety-centric culture
- Lead efforts to obtain and uphold ISO22000 and ISO45001 accreditation
- Develop and enforce health & safety and food safety policies, conducting ongoing training to ensure compliance
- Monitor inspections and incident investigations, overseeing the formulation and execution of corrective action plans
- Facilitate communication with senior management to ensure legal obligations are met
- Chair senior health & safety and food safety committees, driving proactive measures to mitigate risks
- Analyze health & safety and food safety data trends, devising strategies to enhance company performance
- Generate compliance management reports and provide insights to the senior leadership team
Key Skills:
- NEBOSH Diploma and HACCP Level 3 certification as a minimum
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in auditing management systems
- Demonstrated success in fostering HSE and food safety cultural improvements
- Sound understanding of safety culture development
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organizational environment
- Prior experience in line management, preferably in a multi-site capacity
