Enterprise Architect - Construction / Utilities

Rate - £725 - £800 Inside IR35 (umbrella)

Duration - 6 months (Scope for 18 months work)

Location - Essex / Durham (Must be willing to travel to Durham office)

We're recruiting for a well known company sitting within the Water Industry as they look for an Enterprise Architect to provide support to one of their Transformation Programme's currently ongoing.

Key skills/experience

  • Experience in capital delivery / engineering / construction would be preferable
  • Ability to create a technical enterprise architecture aligned to architectural best practice (TOGAF, Zachmann etc)
  • Experience in working within a bi-modal IT environment (ITIL and agile frameworks)
  • Experience of waterfall / systems V projects essential
  • Experience of engaging varied stakeholders to create an overarching enterprise architecture leveraging existing systems landscape, requirements and other artefacts
  • Good communication skills, comfortable running stakeholder workshops

Key Deliverables

  • Develop an enterprise level architecture incorporating a view of outcomes, business functions, roles, applications, networks and data sources
  • Organise and run stakeholder workshops to facilitate alignment across business functions
  • Highlight any interim target states as part of architecture evolution
