The school provides a safe and nurturing environment for children with profound learning difficulties and severe autism, offering tailored support to help them thrive.Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to children with learning difficulties and severe autism.
Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
Foster a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment.
Proactively engage with students to build trust and encourage their independence.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure each child’s needs are fully met.

Requirements:

A proactive, caring, and nurturing personality.
Patience and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with severe autism and profound learning difficulties.
Previous experience in a special needs setting is desirable but not essential—what matters most is your ability to connect with the children and help them succeed.
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the unique needs of each student.
