The school provides a safe and nurturing environment for children with profound learning difficulties and severe autism, offering tailored support to help them thrive.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children with learning difficulties and severe autism.
  • Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment.
  • Proactively engage with students to build trust and encourage their independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure each child’s needs are fully met.
Requirements:
  • A proactive, caring, and nurturing personality.
  • Patience and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with severe autism and profound learning difficulties.
  • Previous experience in a special needs setting is desirable but not essential—what matters most is your ability to connect with the children and help them succeed.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the unique needs of each student.
