We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our team at a well-established used car sales company in Durham, England. Key Responsibilities:

• Fault finding and rectification: Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of vehicles.
• Servicing: Carry out routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and fluid replacements.
• Mechanical inspections: Inspect vehicles for any mechanical or safety issues and recommend the necessary repairs.
• Diagnostic testing: Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure vehicles are in top working condition.
• Repairs and replacements: Carry out repairs, replacements, and adjustments to faulty components as required.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and report on vehicle condition.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience in performing routine servicing, mechanical inspections, and vehicle repairs.
• Passionate about the automotive industry and delivering high-quality workmanship.

• Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving license (required).
