Our client is one of the UK's prime providers of government funded back to work services. Their programmes make a real difference to participants and they are seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated Engagement Officer to market their services and engage with relevant stakeholders across the community.

You will identify stakeholder organisations and opportunities so that our client can achieve participants identified targets as outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and expected by the funders.

The Engagement Officer will develop relationships with key stakeholders and maintain regular communication with partner organisations to ensure that business outcomes are maximised through access to a wider referral partner network.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a fast paced target based sales-orientated environment with a positive 'can-do' attitude. As this role is largely community based you must have access to your own vehicle - expenses will be paid by the employer

  • Technical skills including good knowledge of local labour market, good knowledge of local partners/stakeholders including but not limited to Community and Voluntary Sector Organisations, Local Authorities, GPs, Health Workers and other service providers, analytical ability to use intelligence to maximise on business opportunities, very strong written and verbal communication skills, negotiation skills, accomplished networking skills, organisational and time management skills, ability to build professional relationships effectively.

  • Personal circumstances including willingness to travel locally.
