Job Summary: Reed are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Sales Administrator to join our client who operate in the manufacturing industry. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of orders, maintaining customer satisfaction, and managing health and safety reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, the ability to anticipate and resolve issues, and be able to mentor a junior sales administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Order Processing:
    • Handle complex order processing escalations.
    • Manage the back-and-forth communication regarding invoices and order details.
    • Place and check orders for accuracy for international operations.
    • Track order activity and keep clients informed of their order status.
    • Anticipate and resolve any potential issues that may arise during the order process.
  2. Invoicing:
    • Raise and manage invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any additional needs or questions.
    • Maintain a high level of communication with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  4. Team Management:
    • Manage and mentor a Junior Administrator, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Health and Safety Reporting:
    • Prepare and submit health and safety reports as required.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales administration role or similar.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in order processing systems and invoicing software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus but not essential
