Are you an experienced FMCG Stock Coordinator with a passion for accuracy and logistics? This dynamic and challenging position will allow you to manage stock and relationships at multiple 3rd party logistic sites, ensuring accurate stock holding across all company systems. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to drive efficient stock processes, reconcile discrepancies, and support overall supply chain management.

What the role involves

  • Managing stock across all 3rd party logistic sites, ensuring timely booking in of stock for customer delivery.
  • Conducting stock reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring corrections are implemented.
  • Developing relationships with key personnel at logistic sites and conducting site visits to manage non-conformance stock.
  • Monitoring stock movements, ensuring correct date rotation, and managing stock adjustments.
  • Investigating customer returns and processing stock reintroduction where applicable.
  • Managing transfers of stock between warehouses, including stock conversion adjustments.
  • Providing stock management reporting, detailing stock values, stock dates, and rate of sale.
  • Working with Sales, Customer Service, and Planning teams to identify stock at risk and implement corrective action plans.
  • Liaising with the Planning team and suppliers to provide delivery pre-advice and manage booking slots.

What you will bring

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a stock management role, ideally within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and logical thinking.
  • Proven external relationship management skills, ideally with 3rd party logistics partners.
  • Self-starter with a methodical approach to work and problem-solving mindset.
  • Previous experience in stock reconciliations in a challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and IT-literate.
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Tenacious and proactive, with a drive to complete tasks on time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A great team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally educated to degree level.
