Job Title: KS3 Science Teacher
Location: Dursley
Start Date: Immediate
Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS3 Mixed Science Teacher for an immediate start. This temporary role will be for 3 months and includes planning and marking responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves providing general cover across the timetable as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to KS3 students.
- Plan and prepare lessons, ensuring they meet the needs of all students.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback.
- Cover other classes as required, maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science at KS3 level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
