The client specialises in the design and manufacture of electronic-scanning ground radar systems, providing solutions for national border security, counter-drone, perimeter security, wide area surveillance, and coastline security. Their radars are reputed for reliability and protect lives and critical assets globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate product specifications, test, and build records in the PLM database
- Drafting and ensuring accurate implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Providing information to support component and source approval
- Supporting in-house radar testing and assisting design engineers
- Liaising with manufacturing and component suppliers on technical matters
- Advising on supply challenges, including obsolescence issues
- Supporting electronic and mechanical assembly as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience in production and manufacturing sectors
- Understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering processes
- Familiarity with technical drawings (specifications, drawings)
- Experience with PLM systems
- Experience in electronic (including PCBA) and mechanical assembly
- Proficiency in CAD is advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
