SITE MANAGER (INTERNAL BIAS)

CAMBRIDGESHIRE

Working Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm

O'Neill & Brennan are working with a very reputable contractor in the Cambridgeshire area, who are now on the hunt for an internal-bias Site Manager to cover one of their sites.

The role will require the successful candidate to spend 90% of their time on site, and 10% in the office.

We are looking for someone with experience on all internal elements such as 1st / 2nd fix MEP, 1st / 2nd fix drylining, skimming works, joinery/carpentry, kitchen/wardrobe install, tiling works, hard/soft flooring, painting/decorating, mastic works etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre installation inspections to ensure areas are ready for follow on trades and to avoid any abortive works
  • Carry out thorough QA inspections as works are in progress to ensure works are being completed to the required standard
  • Carry out weekly, monthly and quarterly lookaheads to ensure design, materials, labour etc is in hand
  • Liaise with logistics team, supervisors, direct labour to ensure materials are being distributed and bins/skips are available to maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Monitor program dates and ensure works are being completed in line with the program requirements
  • Chair and record weekly co-ordination meetings and daily briefings with the applicable contractors
  • Overcome issues that may arise on site

Certifications:

  • Valid CSCS (mandatory)
  • Valid SMSTS (mandatory)
  • 1st Aid
  • Scaffold Awareness
