Ramki has over 50 years of experience serving Greater London. We have a long history in installingand maintaining Gas Boilers as well as specialists in the area for renewable heating and cooling systems. We are looking for a qualified Gas engineer who is also keen to learn the renewables installations such as Heat Pumps and Fan Coils to join us as a full time sub contractor.

Role Overview: (Gas Engineer)
As a sub-contracting Gas Engineer, youll be responsible for installing boilers, heat pumps,
fan coils and cylinders, along with maintaining and repairing gas and plumbing systems in
residential and commercial properties.

Gas Engineer - Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete breakdowns, boiler services, CP12s, and heating installations to a highstandard, following company procedures.
  • Install renewable energy systems (heat pumps, fan coils, solar PV).
  • Conduct power flushing, install gas cookers, hobs, and range cookers.
  • Advise customers on maintenance to prevent breakdowns and identify parts/materialsrequired for repairs.
  • Use company software to log travel time, attendance, work details, and job photos.
  • Plan daily tasks effectively and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respectfully interact with customers, issue invoices, and accept payments viacompany software.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota, if possible.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
  • Strong work ethic with commitment and enthusiasm to succeed.
  • Keen to learn new renewable technologies
  • Full, clean driving license with own van and tools.
  • ACS gas qualifications (CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT, HTR1, CPA1).
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Gas Safe registration.
Beneficial Skills:
  • Heat Pump Qualification.
  • Electrical experience (Part P).
  • NVQ Level in Gas Appliances.
  • Part L Energy Efficiency, Water Regulations, and G3 Unvented hot water systems.
