Become a Senior Automation Engineer in a Leading System Integration Specialist Company

Hours 40 Office based hours 5-days per week from 07:30 through 16:00 with flexibility on start/finish times for 15:00 finish on Friday. 30 min lunch 12:30 through 13:00.
My client is open to offering hybrid working but still seeks someone who lives a commutable distance to their Hinkley site to maintain regular days working in the office.

What You Will Do:
- Lead the authoring and deployment of software controls for industrial automation systems.
- Deliver effective modifications to existing systems across the full project lifecycle.
- Collaborate on innovations within product development and technical portfolio, including cloud services through API technologies.
- Program PLCs using Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and Siemens (TIA Portal) platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients during installation, commissioning, and operational phases.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements in automation and robotics.
What You Will Bring:
- +5-Years’ experience in software authoring within similar industrial sectors.
- Proficiency with P&IDs and instrumentation/control equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC programming languages and industrial communication protocols.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A clean driving licence and relevant certifications in PLC programming, HMI development, Scada development.
You may have also worked in similar roles such as Senior Automation Engineer, Lead Controls Engineer, Senior Controls Engineer, Senior PLC Programmer, Mechatronics Engineer, Senior Mechatronics Engineer

- £50 – 55,000 depending on Experience
