Bench Joiners needed in Narborough LE9, Leicester 


Location: LE9 Narborough, Leicester
Salary: £17.00 per hour (about 53k a year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 18:00-06:00 hours are flexible- can also work 20:00-06:00.

Saturday and Sunday overtime available every week

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently looking for a Joinery Paint Sprayer to join a well-established company based in Narborough, Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous paint spraying experience to join a friendly and growing team.

The Role:
  • Working to production schedules  
  • Interpreting technical plans and diagrams  
  • Estimating the materials needed for a job and producing cutting lists  
  • Selecting wood that’s suitable for a particular job 
  • Measuring timber and marking it up ahead of cutting 
  • Cutting timber to required dimensions  
  • Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently  
  • Assembling timber structures in a workshop, such as window and door frames
  • Conducting quality checks and reporting to senior staff
About You:
  •  Proven experience in purpose-made joinery

  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.

  • Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of different woodworking tools and machinery
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements and regulations
