Bench Joiners needed in Narborough LE9, Leicester
Location: LE9 Narborough, Leicester
Salary: £17.00 per hour (about 53k a year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 18:00-06:00 hours are flexible- can also work 20:00-06:00.
Saturday and Sunday overtime available every week
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently looking for a Joinery Paint Sprayer to join a well-established company based in Narborough, Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous paint spraying experience to join a friendly and growing team.
The Role:- Working to production schedules
- Interpreting technical plans and diagrams
- Estimating the materials needed for a job and producing cutting lists
- Selecting wood that’s suitable for a particular job
- Measuring timber and marking it up ahead of cutting
- Cutting timber to required dimensions
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assembling timber structures in a workshop, such as window and door frames
- Conducting quality checks and reporting to senior staff

Proven experience in purpose-made joinery

Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.

Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship

Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills

Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of different woodworking tools and machinery
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements and regulations
