Do you have experience working on residential and commercial civils design?

Our client has an expanding project portfolio and they are seeking a civil & infrastructure design engineer to enhance project delivery.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Infrastructure Design Packages. This will involve developing engineering strategies, producing detailed road and drainage design packages, and conducting cut-and-fill analysis and drainage modelling.

Your role will also include fostering strong relationships with clients and the design team to ensure the seamless delivery of Civils Design as part of a coordinated package, meeting both scope and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and the wider design team-including architects, structural engineers, and technical managers-to develop and explain design strategies.
• Utilize Civils 3D for design development.
• Conduct cut-and-fill modelling and development of levels design, ensuring compliance with Part M Standards.
• Utilize sewer modelling software such as Windes and/or Info Drainage for detailed analysis and interpretation.
• Ensure designs adhere to planning policies, LLFA regulations, and highways standards.
• Integrate geotechnical considerations into design development.
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Stay informed on building regulations and NHBC standards, including private drainage, external works, fire access, and refuse standards.
