My client is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to work on Phase 2 of the Leeds Bradford Airport refurbishment
Phase 2 will commence in May and run for 18 months.
This project is a refurbishment of the existing terminal implementing the work in multiple sub-phases to maintain airport operations with minimal disruption.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full electrical package of the project from start to finish.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the work of 20 electricians.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with client, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior contracts manager.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
Requirements
- Black ECS Project Manager card
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours of work will be 40 hours per week
Rate of pay is 420 - 450 per day depending on experience
