Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work on the behalf of one of our reputable clients based in Yeovil. This is a contract role for 6 months.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, and motivated individual to join our site in Yeovil as a Project Engineer. You will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within the client. You will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects across a variety of remits including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems (LSS).
LOOKING FOR AN ENGINEER TO COVER THE BELOW:
- Receive request from Customer/OEM / Program
- Requirement collation and proposal template preparation
- Requirement sharing with TechPubs Supplier (Hemel or Sonovision)
- Review of quote received from supplier
- Estimations in AET (Estimation Tool)
- Release PO to Supplier
- Coordination with Supplier (Hemel or Sonovision)
- Review and approval documents (only applicable docs)
- Submission to OEM

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
• HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Previous experience of working within a project engineering environment, and an understanding of the engineering lifecycle of a product from conception to commissioning
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
