Likely Double Day shift £16.88 ph
Week One Mon – Fri 06.00 to 14.00
Week Two Mon - Fri 14.00 to 22.00 rotating weekly
You may be required to work for a short time on Day Shift £13.50 ph
08.00 to 16.30 Mon – Thurs and 07.45 to 12.45 Fridays (hours may vary during training)
Role
• To work on the lay up and strip out of composite components on a variety of contracts to meet customer, quality and regulatory standards.
• To work on monolithic composites and/or honeycomb assemblies
• To adhere strictly to the process requirements.
• Metal bonding as and where necessary
• Hand cut where necessary
Experience
Previous composite experience is desired, however, full training will be provided to ensure all operators work to rigorous procedures. Working to high customer, quality and regulatory standards, you will be required to work in a clean area environment on monolithic and/or honeycomb assemblies.
This role will involve bending, stretching and the manual handling of a wide variety of different size composite moulds. Furthermore, you will be expected to work in a structured “hands-on” manufacturing environment, using job cards/process sheets.
Comfortable to work alone or as part of a team, you should be self-motivated, flexible and have good communication skills. You should also be happy to take responsibility for the quality of your work. You will need to be willing to work shift patterns and overtime.
