Sonic Summary
- We are seeking Maintenance Technicians to support our Rolling Stock Fleet at our Depot in Somerset.
- The role involves general maintenance and repair of our diesel/electric locomotive fleet in a supportive work environment.
- The basic salary is £45,508.00 per annum, with potential earnings exceeding £50,000 due to overtime and an industry-leading benefits package.
- Candidates must have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 technical qualification and previous experience in a busy workshop environment.
- This is a permanent position requiring shift work, and applicants should be within a 60-minute commute of Shepton Mallet.

If the above looks of interest then we are looking for the following in return:
A minimum Technical Qualification of NVQ Level 3
Previous experience of working within a busy workshop environment, Automotive, Armed Forces, HGV etc
Team Player and a good sense of humour a must
Hands on tools and a strong appreciation for Health & Safety
Dual skilled, we are ideally looking for Elec/Mech's but all are welcome to apply
Able to work shifts, 2 days / 2 nights then 4 off
Should live within commutable distance of Shepton Mallet, no more than 60 minutes travel time
A strong affinty for problem solving, fault diagnosis both electrically and mechanically and ultimately repair
Should be able to use a Fluke or a multi meter
