Administration Officer

A dedicated independent day school for autistic children and young people are seeking for and Administration Officer to joi their team. They provide specialised teaching for Primary, Secondary and Sixth form pupils, aged 4-19. The defining aspect of their school is individualised teaching for each pupil based on behaviour analytic practices.

Responsibilities of an Administration Officer include:

  • Undertake administrative duties in accordance with statutory and school requirements including providing telephone cover and message service, processing mail and purchasing school supplies.
  • To ensure attendance registers are completed daily, kept up to date and information is reported to other stakeholders when required, e,g, Headteacher, SLT, Governors, DfE.
  • Ensure pupil records are kept up to date and communicate with appropriate members of staff when changes are made.
  • To support the School Business Manager in recruitment and day to day premises management of the school.
  • To assist with School and pupil filing, document retention, correspondence and other records in line with the School's Data Protection Policy.
  • Assisting the School Business Manager with Health & Safety requirements throughout the school.
  • To undertake additional duties relevant to the role.

Requirements of an Administration Officer include:

  • 1 year experience of being an Administration Officer.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confident with IT and Microsoft.
