Job Title: General Administrator (temp ongoing)Location: East GrinsteadHours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00Salary: £11.52 per hourKey Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception experience.- Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.- Manage the Director's diary, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.- Assist with travel arrangements, correspondence, and other personal tasks as required.- Provide administrative support in preparing reports, presentations, and documents.- Oversee health and safety compliance across the site, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain accurate records.- Coordinate training sessions for staff on health and safety procedures.- Assist in the planning and execution of company events, including meetings, training sessions, and corporate functions.- Liaise with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.- Schedule and organize staff training programs, ensuring all employees are up to date with necessary qualifications.- Maintain training records and manage any related administrative tasks.Key Skills and Qualifications:- Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Familiarity with health and safety regulations is an advantage.- PA or secretarial experience is a plus.
