We are working with a client looking for an Administrative Officer.This is an exciting opportunity to join a nurturing and dynamic team in supporting the administration for a small independent school.About Us:At this school, situated in the East Grinstead area, they provide specialised teaching for Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form pupils aged 4-19.Your Role:As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Manage Administrative Duties:
  • Handle telephone cover, message services, mail processing, and school supply purchases.
  • Maintain Attendance Registers:
  • Ensure daily completion and accuracy, reporting to stakeholders like the Headteacher, SLT, Governors, and DfE.
  • Update Pupil Records:
  • Keep records current and communicate changes to relevant staff.
  • Support Recruitment and Premises Management:
  • Assist the School Business Manager with recruitment and day-to-day management
  • Handle Documentation:
  • Assist with filing, document retention, correspondence, and adherence to the School's Data Protection Policy.
  • Ensure Health & Safety:
  • Support the School Business Manager with Health & Safety requirements throughout the school.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Undertake other relevant tasks as needed.
