Commercial Account Handler

Manage a portfolio of clients, handle their insurance needs including renewals and changes, and support business growth by developing new opportunities and cross-selling additional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of clients, ensuring excellent service and relationship management.
  • Handle policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Cross-sell additional business solutions, such as energy, telecoms, and employee benefits.
  • Provide technical support to clients and insurers.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing client queries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial insurance broking (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of general insurance products and FCA compliance. (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Progress toward or willingness to pursue CII qualifications.

Skills:

  • Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Adaptability to changes in the insurance industry.
