We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our team for adhoc bookings in East Grinsteadand surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle with HIAB equipment to load, unload, and deliver goods.
- Complete deliveries within designated timeframes while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Ensure that all required paperwork and delivery documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients and customers.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving license.
- HIAB certification (must be valid).
- CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexibly on an adhoc basis.
- Good knowledge of road safety and regulations.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting as required.
