Purpose of Job: The successful candidate will join the Data Security Compliance Team for a fixed term and work closely with them on the fulfilment of data subject requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete subject access and erasure requests under the UK GDPR
  • Enhance internal documentation and communication templates to ensure clarity of responsibilities for other departments and efficient handling of requests

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience fulfilling data subject requests under the UK GDPR
  • Knowledge of relevant UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
  • Familiarity with guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong general IT skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Recognised data protection and/or information security qualifications (e.g., UK GDPR Foundation and/or Practitioner, CIPP/E, CIPM, CISSP, CISM)
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Drive in Google Workspace
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office software
  • Highly motivated and focused with a proactive attitude

Salary £30k-£35k depending on experience
