Registered Manager - Care Home
East Grinstead
£55,000

We are looking for a Registered Manager to lead a nursing home located in East Grinstead. The home has a fantastic reputation and CQC history. 

While it is desirable to have a valid NMC Pin, this is not essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate teams in a compassionate and people-centered way.
  • Ensure the highest quality care for all residents.
  • Address the social, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Support teams in designing and delivering personalised care plans.
  • Involve residents and staff in decision-making.
  • Build relationships within the community and with residents' families.
  • Collaborate with health agencies and statutory bodies.
  • Meet and exceed legal, regulatory, and care standards.
  • Foster a culture of learning, safety, and improvement.
  • Set and achieve strategic goals to ensure the service thrives.
  • Monitor and act on performance indicators.
  • Lead by example and embody the organisation's values.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in management, social care, health, or housing (e.g. MBA, NVQ 5, ILM 5, RMA, Diploma in Social Work, RGN, RMN).
  • Experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing home or extra care setting.
  • Strong understanding of complex care, particularly for vulnerable adults and people with dementia.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial plans.
  • Leadership experience with large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of social care and health issues.
  • A proven track record of working with external agencies and stakeholders.
