We are looking for a Registered Manager to lead a nursing home located in East Grinstead. The home has a fantastic reputation and CQC history.
While it is desirable to have a valid NMC Pin, this is not essential for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate teams in a compassionate and people-centered way.
- Ensure the highest quality care for all residents.
- Address the social, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.
- Support teams in designing and delivering personalised care plans.
- Involve residents and staff in decision-making.
- Build relationships within the community and with residents' families.
- Collaborate with health agencies and statutory bodies.
- Meet and exceed legal, regulatory, and care standards.
- Foster a culture of learning, safety, and improvement.
- Set and achieve strategic goals to ensure the service thrives.
- Monitor and act on performance indicators.
- Lead by example and embody the organisation's values.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in management, social care, health, or housing (e.g. MBA, NVQ 5, ILM 5, RMA, Diploma in Social Work, RGN, RMN).
- Experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing home or extra care setting.
- Strong understanding of complex care, particularly for vulnerable adults and people with dementia.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial plans.
- Leadership experience with large multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of social care and health issues.
- A proven track record of working with external agencies and stakeholders.
