Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Sustainability Executive to join the Sustainability and Environmental team of a lovely employer based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area. The Sustainability Exec will be assisting with the delivery of the sustainability framework, co-ordinating the reporting of the sustainable activities.

Salary: £35-40K + excellent company benefits

Location: Hybrid working - 1-2 days office based, East Grinstead

Sustainability Executive duties:

  • Ensure accuracy of the content and gather data to support the accreditation and inspection process.
  • Identify opportunities for improving working processes or sharing best practice
  • Support the development of the organisations Environmental Strategy and associated policies.
  • Liaise with external partners/consultants as required and provide summaries of key proposals
  • Manage the Sustainability mail box ensuring all queries are answered
  • Handle online activities - Green community ensuring it is interactive and inspiring
  • Work with marketing to tell the Sustainability story
  • Assist with monitoring and gaining feedback on the Sustainability initiatives

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role in environmental, sustainability, CSR etc
  • Enthusiasm for environmental issues and open to creative, practical ideas
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
