Our client, a reputable accountancy firm, is seeking a Client Manager (Tax and Accounts) for their East Grinstead office.
The position offers a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent company benefits.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with additional experience in practice and self-assessment preferred.
The role is client-facing, requiring the ability to manage a portfolio independently as the primary point of contact.
Hybrid working options are available after the probation period, and the firm provides bonuses and paid overtime during peak months.

We are delighted to be partnered with our professional and established accountancy client as they seek to recruit a Client Manager (Tax and Accounts) to join their experienced team within their offices in the centre of East Grinstead. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very established and reputable firm.

Client Manager (Tax and Accounts)

Full time permanent role - office based hours with hybrid working available after successful completion of probation period.

Role based in East Grinstead with parking available on site for staff - also close to the station area

Salary £50000-£60000 per annum, depending on experience plus excellent all round company benefits, including private medical and group life insurance scheme.

The role - Client Manager (Tax and Accounts)

This is a client facing role. You must be able to work independently as the role involves the control of a portfolio of clients with the client manager being, in most cases, the sole point of contact.

Knowledge of CCH, Sage and/or Xero will be useful but not essential

My client offers bonuses (4% of monthly fees billed) and paid overtime in November, December and January

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Practice: 5 years (preferred)

Self assessment: 5 years (preferred)

Tax: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

ACCA or ICAEW qualification (preferred) QBE considered
