Are you an experienced and qualified practice accountant looking for a role where you can be part of a small, client focused team and be valued and rewarded for your efforts? We are working with a long established and well run accountancy firm in the East Grinstead area, who are looking for an Accounts Manager as the latest addition to their team.
You'll be working closely with the directors and will manage your own varied portfolio of clients where you will not only oversee a variety of accounts and tax compliance work, but also be meeting and advising clients . You'll be helping to train and develop more junior members of the team and be involved in work flow planning and billing so this is a really varied and busy role.
This proudly independent firm place a strong emphasis on customer service and client relationships, but also on a strong team culture and supportive work environment, so it really is a great place to work. They are based in lovely offices in an easily accessible location with plenty of on site parking.
About You:
- Qualified ACA /ACCA with some post qualification experience in a professional practice environment
- Used to managing your own client portfolio
- Excellent client facing skills, a passion for work with SME/owner manged businesses
- Experience of supporting and developing trainee/junior accountants and reviewing their work
- Good tax knowledge would be a definite advantage.
