Pavilion Insurance Recruitment are delighted to offer a new Sussex based, complex policy Account Handler opportunity, working for one of the largest Independent Insurance Brokerages operating in the UK.

You will form part of a team that provide a high-quality broking service to Mid Market/Corporate UK businesses. Working alongside a Senior Executive you will support broking duties such as preparing reports, creating presentations, supporting at meetings and broking risks to the market. You will also manage your own smaller commercial policies, liaising with the client directly from start to finish.

Policies will be varied, making each day different. Examples of these risks are as follows: Property, Commercial Combined, Contractors, Fleet, Motor Trade, Cyber, D&O.

Premium values will vary from £5,000 - £300,000 and broking methods will include open market manual presentations and e-trade using Acturis.

This can be a fast-paced role, where you will be required to action client requests 'on the go’ so if you enjoy being busy whilst balancing providing a professional broking service, this could be the role for you.

This position would suit an individual who values the importance of working in a small team where service and organisation is key.

Experience required:

• Commercial Insurance policy broking - working on premiums from £5,000 upwards
• Ideally working with an Executive, however not essential
• Someone with excellent organisation and efficiency skills
• Someone who enjoys working with pace when needed
• A reliable team player, who can equally work well on own tasks with initiative
• Confidence in liaising with Underwriters and policyholders
