A new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join an award-winning Technology business based in West Sussex. You will report directly to the Managing Director, and manage the finance function on a sole-charge basis.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role:-
- Oversee an Accounts Assistant
- Oversight of Accounts Payable/Receivable and credit control
- Review supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing credit cards and expenses
- Reconciliation of bank and invoice financing statements/ledger
- Entry of journals to Xero for depreciation, stock, and prepayments
- Full reconciliation of month end from the ERP system to the accounting system
- Production of detailed management accounts, including departmental reporting
- Production of annual budgets, and variance analysis
- VAT
- Liaise with external Accountants at year-end
Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-
- AAT Qualified, CIMA PQ or Qualified by Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role
- SME background
- To be 'hands-on’ and proactive
- First-rate systems skills
- Excellent communication skills
