Ready to Advance Your Career?Are you in search of a welcoming and energetic practice that promotes a superb work-life balance?Eager to collaborate with high-net-worth individuals on an exhilarating and challenging portfolio?We have a distinguished and uncommon opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional to join a thriving, entrepreneurial team at their office in Forest Row, near East Grinstead.You will be handling a broad array of personal tax issues for clients, encompassing compliance tasks and tax planning. The position will also involve assisting clients with a variety of tax obligations including income, capital gains, and inheritance taxes, as well as supporting the planning and administration of Trusts and Estates.Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing an engaging and varied portfolio of clients
  • Preparing intricate self-assessment and partnership tax returns
  • Reviewing tax returns created by other team members
  • Managing the preparation and review of Trust and Estate accounts along with related tax returns
  • Compiling 60-day Capital Gains Tax (CGT) returns
  • Evaluating clients' situations and offering support with tax planning strategies
  • Handling potential new client enquiries and aiding in the expansion of the client base
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Preference will be given to CTA-qualified individuals, though practical experience is highly valued, and applicants with other tax or accounting qualifications, as well as those with significant experience, are encouraged to apply.
