Plastics Theatre Scheduler/Admissions Co-ordinator

Job Summary:Reed Crawley are delighted to be partnered with a Health Organisation based in East Grinstead with the recruitment of Plastics Theatre Scheduler/Admissions Co-ordinator .

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling Plastics theatres and managing Consultants’ waiting lists in line with RTT18 targets.

This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:- Schedule inpatient and day case admissions, maximising theatre capacity.- Coordinate outpatient pre-assessment and anaesthetic appointments.- Ensure surgical outcomes and patient cancellations are recorded accurately.- Liaise with internal and external parties to arrange theatre observers and interpreters.- Manage Plastics waiting lists and order necessary equipment and medication.- Provide professional and courteous patient interactions, updating records as needed.- Train and supervise Support Secretaries and other staff.- Deputise for Service Co-ordinators when required.

Requirements:- Excellent communication skills and ability to use appropriate medical terminology.- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work flexibly and support the Medical Secretary team as needed.
