- Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy in prices, minimum order quantities, and price breaks, and discuss orders with customers.
- Complete job cards for the factory and liaise with the planning manager on sales order scheduling.
- Handle inbound calls, address customer queries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Raise sales invoices, credit notes, and proformas.
- Enter sales stock information onto the system and perform regular data entry.
- Convert order information including pieces to metres, metric to imperial, and vice versa.
- Respond to emails and manage general office administration tasks.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, particularly in data entry within Excel.
- Proven experience in a Sales Administration role.
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve problems.
- Strong numerical ability and confidence with conversions (pieces to metres, metric to imperial).
- Professional telephone manner with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resilient, professional, highly organised, and structured with a can-do attitude.
