We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to work on a hybrid basis, for a lovely company in East Grinstead, West Sussex. This is a fixed term contract job role for the UX Designer to deal with the UX and visual design best practice to deliver user journey, user experience and CRO improvements for multiple online brands and products.

Salary: up to £63K dependent on experience plus excellent company benefits

Location: Hybrid working - 2 days office

Duration: 12 month FTC

Hours: 9-5 Mon-Fri

UX Designer duties:

  • Use web analytics, user testing, session videos, heat maps and customer feedback to identify user issues and pain points, adopting user centred approaches to then fix these based on insight and best practice design
  • Iterate visual and UX concepts and ideas based on best practice and new ideas
  • Assist with ideas, concepts, design and assets that can be AB tested
  • Checking and monitoring of UX designs to ensure they are achievable and on the platform
  • Produce pixel perfect designs for sign off
  • Extend and apply existing UX and visual design standards and templates, evolving these as required
  • Monitor developments in e-commerce, design, and competitor's websites and recommend enhancements to UX & visual designs
  • Responsibility for the day to day delivery of customer experience, conversion process and provision through all digital channels (E.G: Desktop, Tablet, Mobile and Apps).
  • Undertake regular competitor analysis
  • Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex designs
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of working in a UX Designer type role
  • Proven experience of website optimisation, UX design exp and data analysis
  • Working knowledge of internet development technologies, SEO and digital applications such as Sigma
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
