Academics is working with a fantastic secondary school in East Grinstead to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students succeed academically and personally. Your support will contribute to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.

• Provide targeted support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.

• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they can effectively access the curriculum.

• Prepare learning materials and assist with lesson planning under the teacher's guidance.

• Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students.
