About the Role

I am currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager to join a well-established educational organisation at a time of growth and development. This is a newly created role and offers the chance to make a real impact, working within a dynamic environment that supports young people with autism and other learning differences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the HR function for the designated provisions, ensuring a professional and effective service.
  • Maintain rigorous safeguarding and compliance standards, ensuring inspection readiness at all times.
  • Provide expert support on employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and absence management.
  • Empower and support line managers to handle HR processes confidently and in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Navigate a fast-paced, complex organization with professionalism and resilience.
  • Deliver training and guidance to develop leadership capabilities across teams.

About You

This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You will have:

  • Proven experience in managing an HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, including investigations, grievances, and supporting staff wellbeing.
  • A passion for developing and supporting managers to uphold best HR practices.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and compliance, ensuring policies and procedures align with regulatory standards.
  • Personal resilience, strong leadership, and the ability to adapt in a complex organization.
  • Experience with Ofsted and CQC (desirable but not essential).
