Duties
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth and compliant experience.
- Conduct pre-employment checks, including right-to-work verification, reference checks, and health & safety compliance.
- Ensure all offer letters, contracts, and new starter documentation are correctly issued and recorded.
- Deliver HR inductions for new employees, ensuring they understand company policies, processes, and compliance expectations.
- Support hiring managers with onboarding best practices to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Ensure all HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and handbooks, is compliant and up to date.
- Manage HR systems and ensure data accuracy, security, and GDPR compliance.
- Implement improvements in onboarding and compliance processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and guidance to managers on compliance-related HR matters, including onboarding procedures and policy adherence.
- Act as a key contact for HR compliance queries, offering clear and practical advice.
- Support wider HR initiatives and projects with a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an HR Advisory role with a strong emphasis on compliance and onboarding.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, right-to-work legislation, and GDPR.
- Strong experience managing onboarding processes and HR compliance checks.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Driving license (preferred)
