Finance Assistant - Part time - East Grinstead

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading company based in East Grinstead looking for a Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper, covering maternity for 9-12 months. The role reports into the Head of Finance and is to ensure the smooth running of the account's operation for the company.

You will be working for a forward thinking, hardworking and fun employer who rewards all its staff! Candidates need to be able to start the role immediately / in a quick time frame.

Duties, tasks and responsibilities

  • Customer invoicing via HubSpot and Xero
  • Uploading invoices to customer portals
  • Uploading invoices to factoring portal
  • Sending monthly customer statements
  • Liaising with customer to ensure invoices received and processed for payment
  • Weekly credit control
  • Processing of supplier invoices via AutoEntry and Xero
  • Liaising with department heads and operations for invoice sign off
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Producing weekly aged creditor reports for review and approval
  • Preparation of payment run
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of invoice factoring account
  • Assisting with reporting for RBS invoice factoring
  • Processing company credit card statements
  • Preparation of staff commissions for review and approval
  • Preparation of payroll and pension submissions for review and approval
  • Preparation of month end journals
  • Assisting with any other finance related tasks
