Reed Accountancy are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to help streamline our clients' financial operations and support their remote finance team. This role is crucial for someone with strong finance experience who can manage a significant backlog, track and locate information within the organisation, and establish effective internal processes.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collaborate closely with the remote finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Track and locate financial information within the organisation to feed consistent and accurate data to the remote team.
- Work alongside management to create and implement internal financial processes that enhance information flow and overall financial management.
- Manage the tracking and banking of cash transactions within the organisation.
- Support the budget setting process and ensure financial data is accurately recorded and maintained in Xero.
- Proven experience in finance or bookkeeping.
- Strong organisational and communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal teams and external finance service providers.
- Proficiency in Xero and other financial software.
- Ability to handle a backlog and set up new systems for efficient financial management.
- Experience in developing and supporting budget processes.
