Reed Accountancy are seeking a Finance Assistant to help streamline our clients' financial operations and support their remote finance team. This role is crucial for someone with strong finance experience who can manage a significant backlog, track and locate information within the organisation, and establish effective internal processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Collaborate closely with the remote finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Track and locate financial information within the organisation to feed consistent and accurate data to the remote team.
  • Work alongside management to create and implement internal financial processes that enhance information flow and overall financial management.
  • Manage the tracking and banking of cash transactions within the organisation.
  • Support the budget setting process and ensure financial data is accurately recorded and maintained in Xero.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in finance or bookkeeping.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal teams and external finance service providers.
  • Proficiency in Xero and other financial software.
  • Ability to handle a backlog and set up new systems for efficient financial management.
  • Experience in developing and supporting budget processes.
