IDEAL CHEMISTRY TEACHER:

• Responsibilities:

  • The Chemistry Teacher will deliver engaging and high-quality Chemistry lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
  • As a Chemistry Teacher, you will plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • The Chemistry Teacher will monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  • As a Chemistry Teacher, you will create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and a love for the subject.
  • The Chemistry Teacher will collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Science curriculum and resources.
  • Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities related to Chemistry, such as science clubs, competitions, or science fairs.
  • The Chemistry Teacher will maintain a safe and orderly classroom, adhering to health and safety guidelines in the laboratory.
  • The Chemistry Teacher will contribute to the wider school community, participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development.
