English Teacher - Secondary School (East Grinstead)

Position Details:

• Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
• Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term, or Permanent
• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible

Your Role as an English Teacher:
As an English Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in English Language and Literature to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Foster a love for reading, writing, and analytical thinking among students.
• Assess and track student progress, offering feedback to help them succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum content and teaching methods.
• Encourage self-expression and confidence in students' written and verbal communication skills.
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular programs and participate in community events.

What We're Looking For:
Ideal candidates will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Possess a strong knowledge of English Language and Literature.
• Have excellent classroom management skills, engaging and inspiring students of all abilities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
• Bring experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is a plus).
