Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental standards.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, CPD opportunities, and whole-school activities.
  • Support the school's ethos by contributing to the broader educational experience of students.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
