Maths Teacher - Secondary School (East Grinstead)
Are you a passionate and skilled Maths teacher looking for a new challenge? I'm currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join one of our excellent secondary schools in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and help them develop a love for mathematics in a supportive and well-resourced school environment.
Position Details:
- Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
- Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term, or Permanent
- Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Your Role as a Maths Teacher:As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with the department and contribute to curriculum development.
- Support students with varying abilities and ensure inclusivity within your classroom.
- Take an active role in the school community and participate in extracurricular activities or events.
What We're Looking For:We're keen to hear from candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
- Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Have experience teaching Maths to Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is advantageous but not essential).
