We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team.. This role involves teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in our well-resourced and collaborative Maths department. The department boasts its own block with a suite of teaching rooms and staffroom, fostering a strong ethos of teamwork and purpose.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students across various key stages.
  • Engage in curriculum development and contribute to departmental improvement plans.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods and ICT tools to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Participate in the appraisal and review process, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Manage student behaviour effectively in line with the school's policies and establish positive relationships.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs and departmental targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and recent educational developments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to professional development and enhancing student outcomes.
